National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)

NASA’s TEAM II solicitation invites informal education institutions to create innovative, NASA-inspired programming for K-12 students and their families. The solicitation is expected to be released in the third quarter of FY2024 (April-June). The solicitation will include three tiers in response to the feedback from the informal education community. The three tiers include:

  • “Community Anchor” tier: This tier will continue to offer awards up to $50,000.
  • New “STEM Innovator” tier: This tier will fund awards of approximately $250,000. 
  • “National Connector”: This tier will award and fund initiatives up to $900,000.

The program will improve responses and outcomes for these youth by diverting them toward community-based treatment to address their unique mental and behavioral health needs to prevent them from entering the formal justice system.
