Marijuana Admissions to Substance Abuse Treatment Aged 18 to 30: Early vs. Adult Initiation

This report from SAMHSA compares individuals presenting for substance abuse treatment who initiated marijuana use before the age of 18 with those who initiated use at age 18 or older. Effects of early initiation are considered as well as the implications for prevention and treatment for both groups.
