Museums Empowered: Professional Development and Capacity Building Opportunities for Museums – A Museums for America Special Initiative

Museums for America (MFA) grants support projects that strengthen the ability of an individual museum to serve its public. Museums Empowered: Professional Development and Capacity Building Opportunities for Museums is a special MFA initiative to provide professional development and capacity building opportunities for eligible museums.

National Leadership Grants for Libraries

National Leadership Grants for Libraries (NLG) support projects that address significant challenges and opportunities facing the library and archive fields and that have the potential to advance theory and practice. Successful proposals will generate results such as new tools, research findings, models, services, practices, or alliances that will be widely used, adapted, scaled, or replicated to extend the benefits of federal investment.

Programming Grants to Accompany NEH on the Road Exhibitions

These grants support ancillary public humanities programs to accompany NEH on the Road traveling exhibitions. Typical formats involve lectures, reading and discussion programs, film discussion programs, Chautauqua presentations by scholars, family programs, exhibition tours, and other appropriate formats for reaching the general public.

NEA Art Works Creativity Connects, FY2018

Art Works: Creativity Connects grants require a partnership between an arts program and a non-arts organization. The Arts Endowment's support of a project may start on or after June 1, 2018. Generally, a period of performance of up to two years is allowed. An organization that submits an application to Art Works: Creativity Connects is still eligible to submit an application to other National Endowment for the Arts funding opportunities.

SUCR ACE PLC Fencing and Trails (PMIS# 196885A)

Project Description: SUCR fencing and trail work will take place within the Flagstaff Area National Monuments, Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, and will include patrol and repairs to over 10 miles of boundary fence. This includes: brushing overgrown vegetation, documenting trespass sights, repairing fence, clearing downed trees, and rebuilding fence. Trail work will include: smoothing and grading of tread, brushing overgrown vegetation, stump removal, stone masonry, stone step construction, water diversion devices and other various tasks related to trail construction.

Interpretation Park Guide Interns

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD: This funding announcement is not a request for applications or proposals. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to award a task agreement under a previously competed or single source justified master cooperative agreement. The objective of this Agreement is to Provide youth with an understanding of the natural and cultural resources of Mammoth Cave, their significance, and how they fit and interact beyond the boundaries of MACA.

Native Youth Initiative for Leadership, Empowerment, and Development (Funding Opportunity)

This funding opportunity will focus on the implementation of comprehensive, culturally-appropriate community programs that promote Native youth resiliency, capacity building, and leadership. 

NEA 2017 Careers in the Arts Toolkit: Increasing Employment Opportunities in the Arts for People with Disabilities

An organization may submit only one proposal under this program solicitation. This Cooperative Agreement may begin no earlier than October 1, 2017, and may extend for up to 18 months. Regional arts organizations (RAOs) and state arts agencies (SAAs) are not eligible to apply. Program Description People with disabilities experience many barriers to careers in the arts, such as inaccessible work spaces, fluctuating job stability and health benefits, and attitudinal barriers about employment opportunities.

Native American Library Services Basic Grants Program

The Native American Library Services Basic Grant Program is noncompetitive and distributed in equal amounts among eligible applicants. Basic Grants are available to support existing library operations and to maintain core library services. The Education/Assessment Option is supplemental to the Basic Grants. It is also noncompetitive and must be requested.
