NASA is seeking applicants to propose an optimized system to enable easy integration of diverse technology payloads onto various commercial suborbital vehicles, orbital platforms, and planetary landers. The proposed universal payload interfaces should seamlessly adapt a wide range of small space payloads – such as technologies, laboratory instruments, and scientific experiments – for flight testing. U.S. Secret Service National Threat Assessment Center (NTAC)

This virtual training series designed for law enforcement and other community safety partners will cover important findings from NTAC’s research on mass attacks perpetrated in public and semi-public spaces, including schools, businesses, restaurants, bars, retail outlets, houses of worship, open spaces, and more. Trainings will provide guidance on how communities can develop or improve existing violence prevention programs utilizing a behavioral threat assessment model. Sessions will be held on these days:

This training (PDF, 2 pages) presents approaches to resilience for faculty, staff, and administrators at institutions of higher education (IHEs) before, during, or after an emergency event. The training shares information on compassion fatigue, including occupational burnout, the unique aspects of IHE campus culture and climate, the relationship between trauma and resilience when crises occur, the development of a self-care plan, and Psychological First Aid. 

Participants will learn resilience strategies to increase their ability to work effectively with their peers, students, faculty, and staff impacted by stress, loss, and trauma brought on by emergency events.
