Children, Youth and Families at Risk (CYFAR) 4-H Military Partnership Professional Development and Technical Assistance Program

The purpose of the CYFAR 4-H Military Partnership Professional Development and Technical Assistance Program is to support the implementation and capacity of the 4-H Military Partnership and Outreach Support Program. Professional development and technical assistance are provided to the land-grant institutions and Cooperative Extension System, so that, in collaboration with other organizations, they are able to develop and deliver educational programs for military-connected youth.

2019 NASA Teams Engaging Affiliated Museums and Informal Institutions (Funding Opportunity)

This solicitation will fund informal educational institutions (IEIs) like science museums, planetariums, youth-serving organizations, and libraries to offer NASA education or research for inquiry- or experiential-based educational opportunities that directly align with major NASA missions for students and the public.

Yasmine

We spoke with Yasmine at the AIR studio in August 2018.

Yasmine is 24 years old. She founded and currently leads ScholarCHIPS to provide support to youth who have an incarcerated parent and reduce the shame and stigma. As the child of an incarcerated parent, she believes in empowering youth to reach their potential through mentorship and guidance.
