National Ocean Sciences Competition for High School Students

The goal of this funding opportunity is to expose high school students in the United States and its territories to the excitement of ocean sciences and related fields as well as careers in those fields through an academic competition and related activities. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) program supports the success of all children who are deaf or hard of hearing (D/HH) in the United States by helping to ensure they receive a newborn screening, early diagnosis, and timely intervention services. Without timely screening, diagnosis and intervention, children who are D/HH lose valuable time in gaining the skills that will put them on a trajectory to have language on par with their hearing peers in kindergarten and be ready to succeed in school.

Promoting Internationalization of Indian Universities Through U.S. collaborations

The proposed funding opportunity will provide insights on U.S. internationalization best practices to Indian higher education administrators from a range of private and public institutions. This exposure to discussions, presentations and networking opportunities will help Indian administrators forge collaborations with their American counterparts. PAS India believes that higher education advocacy organizations like Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) provide opportunities for Indian and American institutions to explore common strategies and forge collaborations.
