Report: Results for the 2024 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Science Assessment 

This report presents selected results from the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) 2024 science assessment. The report includes national results on the performance of eighth-grade students. Results are presented in terms of an average overall science score (on a 0 to 300 scale), change in performance compared with previous NAEP Science administrations, and as percentages of students performing at or above three NAEP achievement levels: NAEP Basic, NAEP Proficient, and NAEP Advanced.
