Cancer Research Education Grants Program - Curriculum or Methods Development (R25)

The NIH Research Education Program (R25) supports research education activities in the mission areas of the NIH. The over-arching goal of this NCI R25 program is to support educational activities that complement and/or enhance the training of a workforce to meet the nations biomedical, behavioral and clinical research needs. To accomplish the stated over-arching goal, this FOA will support creative educational activities with a primary focus on Curriculum or Methods Development.

University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service

AoD's Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (OIDD) within the Administration for Community Living (ACL), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) forecasts the possible availability of Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 funds to make five-year grants to up to three entities designated as University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research, and Service (UCEDD).

NCBDDD Outcomes and Developmental Data Assistance Center for EHDI (ODDACE) Programs

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) program supports the success of all children who are deaf or hard of hearing (D/HH) in the United States by helping to ensure they receive a newborn screening, early diagnosis, and timely intervention services. Without timely screening, diagnosis and intervention, children who are D/HH lose valuable time in gaining the skills that will put them on a trajectory to have language on par with their hearing peers in kindergarten and be ready to succeed in school.

This program promotes diversity among the health professions by providing awards to eligible health professions and nursing schools, for schools to provide scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have a demonstrated financial need and are enrolled full-time in a health profession program or nursing program.

Grants to Support New Investigators in Conducting Research Related to Preventing Interpersonal Violence Impacting Children and Youth

This NCIPC Mentored Research Scientist Development Award (K01) seeks to provide support for an intensive, supervised (mentored) career development experience in violence prevention research leading to research independence. Applicants must identify an experienced mentor and, co-mentor(s) as applicable to supervise the proposed career development and research experience.
