Department of Justice Awards Nearly $105 Million to Protect Children from Exploitation, Trauma, and Abuse
DOJ announced grant awards totaling almost $105 million to protect children from exploitation, trauma, and abuse, and to fund improvements in the judicial system’s handling of child abuse and neglect cases. Funds will help develop, enhance, and strengthen investigative and trauma-informed services to assist youth, while supporting robust training and technical assistance to ensure that professionals working with impacted young people have the tools they need to be successful.
