2015 President’s Education Awards Program Recipients
The Department of Education announced the 2015 President’s Education Awards Program recipients, honoring nearly three million students from more than 30,000 public, private, and military schools from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Elementary, middle, and high school students are honored in two categories for this program: the Award for Educational Excellence, recognizing students’ academic success in the classroom, and the Award for Outstanding Educational Achievement, recognizing students’ hard work, often in the face of special obstacles to their learning.
