SAMHSA's 2015–2018 Strategic Plan
SAMHSA’s new strategic plan, Leading Change 2.0: Advancing the Behavioral Health of the Nation 2015-2018, outlines how SAMHSA will continue to increase awareness and understanding of mental and substance use disorders, expand prevention efforts, promote emotional health and wellness, increase access to effective treatment, and support recovery. The plan outlines six strategic initiatives for meeting SAMHSA’s mission, new and existing goals, and vision. The plan was developed with input from SAMHSA’s Executive Leadership Team and staff, a diverse group of stakeholders, and the public.
