This annual survey of eighth-, 10th-, and 12th-graders measures how teens in the U.S. report their drug and alcohol use and related attitudes. In 2017, 47,703 students from 360 public and private schools participated in the survey.

Using evidence gathered from studies that included young adolescents, adolescents, and young adults, this report confirms there is no acceptable level of nicotine when it comes to these populations and the aerosol from e-cigarettes is not harmless.
