Report: Births in the United States
This NCHS Data Brief presents several key demographic, maternal, and infant health indicators by race and Hispanic origin, using 2014 final birth data. The number of births in the United States increased slightly in 2014, with rates rising for non-Hispanic white and Asian or Pacific Islander women. There were historic lows for Hispanic women and American Indian or Alaska Native women. In 2014, teen childbearing fell to another historic low for each race and Hispanic origin group.
Guideposts for Success for Youth with Mental Health Needs
The Guideposts for Success are a framework to assist the multiple organizations that need to be involved to meet the needs and improve the transition outcomes of all youth, including youth with disabilities. The guideposts discuss school-based services, career preparation, leadership opportunities, community services, and family involvement supports for youth with mental health needs. These documents were developed by the National Collaborative on Workforce and Disability, which is supported by funds from the Department of Labor.

Professionals who are responsible for planning and responding to incidents of mass violence and terrorism can use this toolkit to develop a victim assistance plan, bring key partners together to develop or continue the use of a plan, and establish and implement victim assistance protocols.
