Developed by FYSB’s Family Violence Prevention and Services Program (FVPSA) and the Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence, the report shares information and recommendations from a roundtable hosted by FVPSA. The roundtable addressed models and strategies to deliver survivor-centered, trauma-informed services, policies that sustain coordination, and capacity building across federal, state, national, and local agencies and systems.

This helpline provides accessible safety planning, crisis counseling, and culturally relevant referrals for Native survivors of domestic and dating violence. Developed by FYSB’s Family Youth Prevention and Services Program, the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, and the National Domestic Violence Hotline, this hotline is the first to provide culturally-appropriate, anonymous, confidential service specifically for Native American survivors. The helpline is 1-844-7NATIVE (1-844-762-8483) and is operational 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday.

IACP Launches No-Cost Online Training on Child Trafficking
The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), in collaboration with COPS and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Against Children Section, released “Child Sex Trafficking: A Training Series for Frontline Officers.” This free, self-paced online course will educate frontline officers on how to recognize and respond to victims of child sex trafficking.
