Preserve America Stewards
Preserve America Stewards is a designation program that recognizes organizations and agencies for volunteer programs that help care for our historic heritage. Preserve America Stewards run programs that 1) provide volunteers with opportunities to contribute in direct and tangible ways to the preservation of historic properties; 2) address an otherwise unfilled need in heritage preservation through the use of volunteers; and 3) are innovative in areas such as youth involvement, volunteer training, public education, and public/private partnerships.
YouthBuild
Youthbuild provides an alternative education pathway that encourages youth to obtain a high school diploma or GED, while advancing toward employment while developing leadership skills and serving the community.
Supporting Community College Delivery of Apprenticeships
This report, developed by Jobs for the Future, highlights the findings of a survey of 38 community colleges on apprenticeship program design, occupations, and participant diversity. It also provides recommendations for four areas of focus for organizations partnering with community colleges to expand apprenticeship initiatives.

AmeriCorps: National Mentoring Month

New Requirement to Record Your Indirect Cost Rate in eGrants
As part of the new Uniform Guidance for AmeriCorps award and grants, recipients must record the indirect cost method and rates they will be using on their awards. AmeriCorps has created a feature in eGrants for recipients to record the method they will be using to apply their indirect costs to all awards.

The National Service-Learning Clearinghouse (NSLC) supports the service-learning community in higher education, kindergarten through grade twelve, community-based organizations, tribal programs, and all others interested in strengthening schools and communities using service-learning.
