Reports: Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network
These reports estimate the number of children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities living in different areas of the United States. New data indicate that 1 in 68 school-aged children are on the autism spectrum, highlighting the importance of services and supports for these children now and as they grow into adolescence and adulthood.

With support from CDC’s NCBDDD, the National Association of County and City Health Officials has developed the Directory of Community-Based Organizations Serving People with Disabilities. This resource provides an overview of organizations that serve people with disabilities in communities across the country.
CDCynergy
CDCynergy is a multimedia CD-ROM used for planning, managing, and evaluating public health communication programs. The tool was originally created for use within CDC. In addition to the basic edition, CDC program and partners have created additional versions of the tool focused on specific health topics. Copies of the CD can be ordered from the Public Health Foundation.
Coordinated School Health Program
Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Student (WSCC), is recommended by CDC as a strategy for improving students' health and learning in our nation’s schools. This course, from the University of Wisconsin Extension, provides a holistic approach to planning and evaluating education and outreach programs. It helps program practitioners use and apply logic models - a framework and way of thinking to help us improve our work and be accountable for results. Framework for Program Evaluation in Public Health
This is a 58-page report which introduces the CDC’s framework for program evaluation and its key concepts. It provides in-depth outline of the 6 six steps in program evaluation (engaging stakeholders, describing the program, focusing the evaluation design, gathering credible evidence, justifying conclusions, and ensuring use and sharing lessons learned), as well as 4 standards for effective evaluation (utility, feasibility, propriety, and accuracy).

CDC’s Clear Communication Index Widget is a research-based tool designed to help agencies communicate clearly with their intended audiences. This report describes the overall prevalence of sexual violence, stalking, and intimate partner violence victimization in the United States using data from 2011. It reveals that nearly 54% of all female victims and 48% of all male victims experienced their first victimizations before age 25, many of whom were first victimized during childhood or adolescence.
