What Works to Prevent Teen Dating Violence?
Researchers at West Chester University of Pennsylvania assessed teen dating violence prevention programs to determine if they met nine criteria of effective prevention programs. Safe Dates, a school-based prevention program, was the only program to meet all criteria and could therefore be called a “model program.”

Developed by FYSB’s Family Youth Prevention and Services Program, the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, and the National Domestic Violence Hotline, this hotline is the first to provide culturally-appropriate, anonymous, confidential service specifically for Native American survivors. The helpline is 1-844-7NATIVE (1-844-762-8483) and is operational 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday.

National Secondary Transition Technical Assistance Center
The National Secondary Transition Technical Assistance Center (NSTTAC) helps states build capacity to support and improve transition planning, services, and outcomes for youth with disabilities and disseminates information and provides technical assistance on scientifically-based research practices with an emphasis on building and sustaining state-level infrastructures of support and district-level demonstrations of effective transition methods for youth with disabilities.
