Report: Intersections of Human Trafficking, Domestic Violence, and Sexual Assault
This report (PDF, 21 pages) highlights the nexus between domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking. Developed by FYSB’s Family Violence Prevention and Services Program (FVPSA) and the Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence, the report shares information and recommendations from a roundtable hosted by FVPSA. The roundtable addressed models and strategies to deliver survivor-centered, trauma-informed services, policies that sustain coordination, and capacity building across federal, state, national, and local agencies and systems.

This policy brief (PDF, 4 pages), developed by The National Child Traumatic Stress Network, describes child sex trafficking, including what it is, who is at risk, the potential consequences, and what can be done to address it. Policymakers and other stakeholders can use this resource to better understand child sex trafficking and its relationship to child trauma, and to develop policy-relevant and child- trauma-focused recommendations to assist with developing responses.
Support for Child Victims and Witnesses of Human Trafficking
This set of graphic novels is now available to help young trafficking survivors, ages 2–18, navigate the justice system as a victim or witness. These resources help youth understand the justice system, their rights, and roles of different practitioners. Practitioner and Caregiver Guides and excerpts of support from individuals with lived experience are included.

This free online course, developed by the Suicide Prevention Resource Center, offers strategic planning recommendations to consider when building or expanding a suicide prevention program. Professionals responsible for suicide prevention in states, communities, organizations, schools, or workplaces can use this information to identify key risk factors, set long-term goals for the program, and implement interventions and evaluations.
