4-H Military Partnerships
The National 4-H Headquarters, at USDA has established formal partnerships with Army Child and Youth Services, Air Force Airmen and Family Services, Army Child and Youth Services and Navy Child and Youth Programs to support positive youth development education for youth whose parents are serving in the military.
4-H Afterschool
4-H Afterschool is a special focused effort within the 4-H Youth Development Program that helps 4-H and other youth-serving organizations create and improve after-school programs in urban, suburban, and rural communities across the United States.

National Institute of Food and Agriculture
The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) advances knowledge for agriculture, the environment, human health and well-being, and communities by supporting research, education, and extension programs in the Land-Grant University System and other partner organizations. NIFA replaced the former Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service (CSREES), which had been in existence since 1994.
Passport in Time
Passport in Time (PIT) is a volunteer archaeology and historic preservation program of the USDA Forest Service (FS). PIT volunteers work with professional FS archaeologists and historians on national forests throughout the U.S. on such diverse activities as archaeological survey and excavation, rock art restoration, survey, archival research, historic structure restoration, oral history gathering, and analysis and curation of artifacts. FS professional staff of archaeologists and historians serve as hosts, guides, and co-workers.

WIC Agencies Recognized for Supporting Breastfeeding Mothers
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack recognized state and local agencies of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) that excel in offering education and support for breastfeeding mothers. USDA also presented outstanding breastfeeding programs with WIC Breastfeeding Performance Bonuses, awarded to agencies and organizations that have demonstrated successful breastfeeding promotion and support efforts, and the WIC Loving Support Awards of Excellence, which honored WIC agencies utilizing the USDA Loving Support Model for successful peer counseling programs.

Blue Campaign
The Blue Campaign is the unified voice for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS’s) efforts to combat human trafficking. DHS is responsible for investigating human trafficking, arresting traffickers, and protecting victims. DHS also provides immigration relief to foreign-born victims of human trafficking. Working in collaboration with law enforcement, government, and nongovernmental and private organizations, the Blue Campaign strives to protect the basic right of freedom and to bring those who exploit human lives to justice. The Lost Person Behavior mobile app provides step-by-step instructions on search plans for first responders and response teams involved in missing person searches. Designed using data from more than 150,000 missing person cases across the country, the app provides guidance for more than 40 different scenarios, including lost children.

This website provides information on the Blue Campaign, a unified effort from DHS, working in collaboration with law enforcement, government, non-governmental, and private organizations to combat human trafficking. The campaign aims to raise awareness about human trafficking, leverage partnerships to educate the public to recognize and report trafficking, train law enforcement to detect and investigate human trafficking, protect survivors, and bring suspected traffickers to justice.
Federal Strategic Action Plan on Services for Victims of Human Trafficking in the United States 2013-2017
The result of collaborative efforts of the over 15 federal agencies of the Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, the Federal Strategic Action Plan on Services for Victims of Human Trafficking in the United States 2013-2017 lays out a five-year path for enhancing coordination and building capacity across governmental and nongovernmental entities to better support individuals who are victims of human trafficking.
