WIC Agencies Recognized for Supporting Breastfeeding Mothers
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack recognized state and local agencies of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) that excel in offering education and support for breastfeeding mothers. USDA also presented outstanding breastfeeding programs with WIC Breastfeeding Performance Bonuses, awarded to agencies and organizations that have demonstrated successful breastfeeding promotion and support efforts, and the WIC Loving Support Awards of Excellence, which honored WIC agencies utilizing the USDA Loving Support Model for successful peer counseling programs.

Blue Campaign
The Blue Campaign is the unified voice for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS’s) efforts to combat human trafficking. DHS is responsible for investigating human trafficking, arresting traffickers, and protecting victims. DHS also provides immigration relief to foreign-born victims of human trafficking. Working in collaboration with law enforcement, government, and nongovernmental and private organizations, the Blue Campaign strives to protect the basic right of freedom and to bring those who exploit human lives to justice. U nonimmigrant status provides immigration protection to crime victims who have suffered substantial mental or physical abuse as a result of the crime. Lost Person Behavior Mobile App
The Lost Person Behavior mobile app provides step-by-step instructions on search plans for first responders and response teams involved in missing person searches. Designed using data from more than 150,000 missing person cases across the country, the app provides guidance for more than 40 different scenarios, including lost children.

This website provides information on the Blue Campaign, a unified effort from DHS, working in collaboration with law enforcement, government, non-governmental, and private organizations to combat human trafficking. The campaign aims to raise awareness about human trafficking, leverage partnerships to educate the public to recognize and report trafficking, train law enforcement to detect and investigate human trafficking, protect survivors, and bring suspected traffickers to justice.
