The Community Energy Fellowship Program (CEFP) sponsors participants to spend 18 months embedded in state, local, and Tribal governments (hosts) learning about and assisting in the implementation of clean energy projects and programs. Fellows will be matched with one or more local or Tribal governments to apply their knowledge and experiences to their host’s current activities. Fellows will receive a stipend to support their participation in the program and an allowance for education and professional development opportunities. Learn more and apply.

Self-Nomination Deadline: November 10, 2023, 5:00 pm ET

The Youth Systems Building Academy (YSB Academy) provides local workforce systems and their community partners with individualized training and tailored technical assistance as they create plans to explore, design, test, implement, or scale system-level approaches to engage and support young people entering the workforce. As a part of this second cohort of the YSB Academy, participating local communities will create actionable and sustainable plans to implement a range of activities. Communities may plan to align workforce resources and investments with education, child welfare, juvenile justice, TANF, SNAP, housing, transportation, or disability systems. They may leverage data to broaden understanding of how to ensure equitable access to programming, or they may enhance their knowledge of positive youth development and trauma-informed principles. NAW is a nationwide celebration where employers, industry associations, labor organizations, community-based organizations, workforce partners, educators, and government leaders host events to showcase the successes and value of Registered Apprenticeship.  

This year NAW’s theme, “Registered Apprenticeship: Superhighway to Good Jobs,” highlights Registered Apprenticeship as a proven and industry-driven training model that expedites the pathway into good jobs and improves diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) in the workplace.
