Archived Webinar: Program Evaluation Doesn’t Have to be Scary: Increase Buy-In with Message Framing

In March 2018, the Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs hosted a webinar to describe the ways that commonly-held beliefs derail the practice of program evaluation as part of a successful intervention. Experts from the  American Institutes for Research shared evidence-based communications framing strategies to help organizations effectively gain buy-in from stakeholders for implementing program evaluation.

Objectives from this webinar include:

  1. Understand culture’s role in strategic message framing,
  2. Describe barriers to successful communication and mobilization around program evaluation, and
  3. Formulate reframed messages to obtain buy-in and mobilize their organizations to implement a program evaluation process.
